Dyno Certified RMS lists 2-Ohm: 120W x4 + 500W x1 and 4-Ohm: 80W x4 + 300W x1. The amp is 2-Ohm stable, maintains minimum THD < 0.05%, S/N ratio >90dB and a damping factor >100@100Hz with a 15–35kHz frequency response for clear, controlled audio.
- Dyno-Certified Power & Topology: Rockville provides both peak and Dyno Certified RMS so shoppers can compare fairly to budget and premium brands. Peak ratings include 2-Ohm: 480W x4 + 2000W x1 and 4-Ohm: 320W x4 + 1200W x1. The dB55 uses a high-speed MOSFET power supply, optical-coupler Class AB + D hybrid topology and studio-grade bipolar output transistors; built-in under-voltage protection at 10V and over-voltage protection at 16V improve reliability during heavy use.

It also offers a 12 dB bass equalizer, 8-Volt preamp circuitry, status mode LED indicator, remote dashboard subwoofer control, mute and delay soft-start, and full IC-controlled protection with a professional peak limiter for distortion-free playback.
- Installer-Friendly Amp Kit: The included Rockville RWK42 4-AWG installation kit features two 17' twisted-pair 100% copper RCA cables (blue/silver), 17' SuperFlex power cable, 17' speaker and remote leads, 3' clear ground, massive gold-plated 80A AGU fuse with holder, 7' split loom, and a soft abrasion-proof PVC jacket rated -40°F to 220°F. Accessories include wire ties, ring terminals, butt connectors, spades and grommets to ensure low-resistance, neat routing and reliable connections.
