Place the pot on a dry, flat, non-slip surface. Hold the handle firmly, and then pull the plunger unit straight up out of the pot.2. Put the cooked coffee powder or loose tea into the pot.3. Pour hot water (not boiling) into the pot. Leave at least 1 inch of space at the top.4. Stir the coffee with plastic or wooden spoon.5. Place the plunger unit on the top of the pot. Turn the lid to close the opening of the pouring spout. Do not press for at least 4 minutes.6. Hold the pot handle tightly and tilt the nozzle away from you. Then, use the weight of your hand to apply slight pressure on the top of the knob to slowly lower the plunger into the pot vertically. The minimum pressure produces the best results.7. Turn the lid to open the pouring spout, and then pour the coffee into the cup.
